Hence they are great failures in life as they can't move on. Anger within hurts yourself more than anything, it's like drinking poison and expecting others to die, it never works.
It's almost impossible to forget but it is not imossible to forgive. You owe it to yourself and the quality of life. Never ever share in the misery of someone else's past as it solves nothing other than them becoming emotional vampires having sought out another victim to sap your energy.
