From the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Sandi Lynn, comes the continuation of Ian & Rory's love story....
After Rory Sinclair suffered a brutal attack, she fell into the arms of millionaire Ian Braxton. He took her in, healed her, and they both gave each other something they never had: love.
My name is Rory Sinclair, and for the first time in my life I'm truly happy. I've found the love of my life, my soul mate, and my best friend. We were the missing pieces in each other's lives, and now that we're together our bond is stronger than ever. We're building our future together; a future I never believed I would have. Then it happened.
My name is Ian Braxton, and for the first time in my life I feel complete. A woman named Rory Sinclair did that to me. She breathed life into me and gave me hope. Money didn't matter to me anymore, and I would've given it all up for her. She's my dream and I never want to wake up. Then it happened.
Ian and Rory found their happily ever after in Lie Next To Me (A Millionaire's Love). Will it continue? Or will something that happens unexpectedly tear them apart?

I cannot believe this book even got published, let alone made into an audiobook. Is it me, or was this a blatant, yet altogether mediocre attempt at FSOG? With a bit of feeble tinkering to the storyline, it was a duplicate. With all the "he said", "I said", "she said", "I smiled", "he smiled", "I yelled", "he yelled", "I asked", "he asked" - what the? In addition, there was absolutely NO character exploration. Why on earth would a girl ask her ex-husband's brand new girlfriend to be her maid of honour? Would she not have any other friends? Of course she would. If he's supposed to be a "millionaire businessman", his linguistic skills are severely lacking. His narrative, like the rest of the book, was that of a 4th grader. My nine year old gets harder words in his weekly spelling.
Not adding to the experience, let's talk about the narrators. They only got a "1" because I couldn't give them a "0". "Ian" was particularly stagnant, monotone and unconvincing. He sounded like a preschooler doing the christmas play narration. I will DEFINITELY steer clear of any books narrated by both of these narrators in the future.
So, in conclusion, I'm afraid I have to say "mediocre at best". With every plot development transparently predictable and an ending that was completely cringe-worthy, I would even go so far as to say it was embarrassing. And that is how I feel, embarrassed to have purchased this and I feel hoodwinked by the other reviews. Surely I'm not alone in this overview!
It is obvious I love audible & I am addicted to it too!!
let me just say book 1 was great, with the drama they went through. but with book 2 it was even better in fact it was awesome and the usual drama!!
it was addictive. once i start listening i couldn't stop!!
Love the story and love the narrators...they did an amazing job!!
"Great story; narrators where awesome"
I really enjoyed this book but they did a poor job of proofreading. The narrators did an amazing job of making grammitical corrections as she's narrating the story. You would have to an experienced actress to get in and out of character to make adjustments in the middle of taping. So kudos to Rebecca.
I wasn't sure when listening to book 1 but glad I did not give up because the storyline got better and better. This may have been my first listen to this author but it won't be the last. I very much like the smooth flow of the way she tells a story and the characters. I will be reading more from this author!
"An erotic fairytale with a happy ever after ending"
The performance was well by the female and male narrators. The story kept me engaged. It's an erotic, fantasy, fairytale with a happy ending.
"Must Read This Sequel"
After not loving book one, I was hesitant to listen to this one. Thankfully this second book was better. With Ian's POV included, the story felt more rounded out. Also liked the narration more. In the end, I was satisfied with the books.
I don't write reviews but this one I had too. I LOVED the story it kept me very involved BUT... I wanted to smack this chick... Rory is ridiculous.... she put up with WAY too much.... no man would ever be able to put me through that...
Great series. It had great drama. The story had interesting twists and turns. I really like Sandi Lynn books.
"Not her Best"
I was a little reluctant to finish this duo because the first book was sub par and I disliked the narrator. This book was better. I think it helped having Ian's POV. It still wasn't great. Not sure I will do anymore from this author even though I really liked the forever series
"Love this books, couldn't put them down."
If looking for a awesome book and amazing books read them. these books made me feel so many emotions, from anger to laughter and crying. A must read or listen, excellent books.
"A modern Cinderella story"
I have absolutely love this Siri's iPhone myself at times wiping away tears it's a modern-day Cinderella love story
This was such a great book, because you never really knew where it was going to go, they fought quite a bit which I liked because Rory never put up with any of Ian's crap. A book, I could read again and again and again. Enjoy
"hearts all the way"
this is an amazing book I have now read it 4 times I can never.get tierd of it. it as every thing you need in a romancee love, devastation and romance it's a must read you wont beable to put it down.
"Sadly not good at all"
Enjoyed the first book , but this is pure rubbish dont bother , its as if a child has wriiten it which is very sad
One of the narrators thinks is smart putting her own comments in the narration, very annoying
