Meet Adrian Mole, a hapless teenager providing an unabashed, pimples-and-all glimpse into adolescent life. Writing candidly about his parents' marital troubles, the dog, and his life as a tortured poet and 'misunderstood intellectual', Adrian's painfully honest diary is still hilarious and compelling reading thirty years after it first appeared.

"We laugh both at Mole and with him. A wonderful comic read, that, like all the best comedy, says something rather meaningful." (Heat)

Read this book 33 years ago , loved it. Just listened to it on a road trip with two 13year old boys. A trip down memory lane for me, loving the adult humour that I missed as a child. The two boys giggled all the way through . Such a classic
Great story, fantastically performed. I would highly recommend this to anyone whether they are familiar with the book or not.
