Change of perspective

I really liked how they mixed white and coloured people together and how they introduced the Lord into the story. It gave me a sense of hope that even though I am being abused I could one day stand up to the person. It might not be for a long time but this novel has given me a brand new perspective on my situation. No matter how hard things get Jesus will get me through.
