From the author of The First to Land, a novel set during World War II. They called them the Scrapyard Flotilla. After a quarter of a century of service, the eight destroyers had seen all kinds of action.
Now they were to be used in raids to open the way for the invasion of Occupied Europe.

"Not Just A War Storey"
He always bring that calm so typical of the period
You don't live forever
The books by Reeman should be printed by 'Mills and Boon' they are really romantic novels not war stories
What a brilliant and persuasive story well written and devilishly narrated to perfect effect
I'm sure we will never pass this way again
A good story with excellent background detail and graphic battle narrative. As usual David Rintoul was superb.
"another Mans book"
just the thing for when one needs to distract oneself from the bigger issues of the day. True British navy through and through.
