Called an eccentric beast by the citizens of Amesport, Maine, handsome billionaire Grady Sinclair stays isolated in his mansion on a private peninsula. The arrangement suits Grady just fine - until an angelic woman rings his doorbell, awaking his long dormant passion with her fearlessness. All he wants is to make the fiery blonde his forever. But will he have to become the monster everyone thinks he is to get his Christmas wish?
Emily Ashworth is desperate. The Youth Center has been robbed of all its money, and as the director, she has to find a way to give the town's needy children the Christmas they deserve. With nowhere else to turn, she ventures to the mansion of a mysterious billionaire to ask for help. Warned to expect a beast, Emily is shocked to find Grady Sinclair a handsome and passionate man. Is this misunderstood billionaire just a lonely soul who needs the gift of love for Christmas?

"ugggg fast forwarded it mostly"
ridiculous tripe, I like a good romance but this was too hard to swallow!!! Spóiler: Within a week of knowing each other, he saved her twice from a bullet and drowning, let's her go through his finances ect this was just ignorant. The narrator did a good job and she tried.
"SHORT..... BUT PACKED FULL OF HAPPINESS"
First of all this is actually book 0.5 in the Sinclair Billionaire series and I purchased this Novella because I had already listened to book 1 No Ordinary Billionaire which was about Dante and this Novella is about his brother Grady.
Anywhoo back to the book, this was a short but very enjoyable listen about the hermit Grady Sinclair but he had good reasons to dislike mixing with people, hating parties and had feeling like he was different from the rest of the Sinclairs. He dreamed of fitting in with the rest of his four siblings but he never did because of the actions of his cruel Father..... but, at 18, fate stepped in and helped him out.
Thirteen years later, Emily fell on his doorstep (literally) desperately looking for a donation for the broke Charity Youth Centre where she was a Director and when handsome Grady himself opened the door it was game over for both of them because Grady made her an offer she couldn't refuse. It was a charming, funny, sweet, tender, romantic and heroic story as they clashed, argued, made mad passionate possessive love and shared Christmas together. With a couple of short drama filled near death experiences thrown in too.
Worth a credit? Dual POV's, a great narrator who could do male voices well and it was under $10 (and it was a bargain at only $5.24 while on sale) it was a very worthy buy so saving a credit for a more expensive listen.
this is fourth book I have read by J.S. love the Sinclair series. can't wait to read about Hope and Jason. I am a new fan.
"J. S Scott"
Love this author. Very descriptive with their writing. And love the reader. Have listened to quite a few of books.
In a way, it is a good book and I love reading it. It kind of make me think that if I could have a small faction of what the hero shown to the heroin in my life I would be happy. I won't mind a billionaire giving me a new car...LOL..
Not sure because I have no friends that like to read what I read and the few friend I know does not understand English.
She has an excellent voice and I love listening to her read.
It would be nice to see it turn into a TV series but I'm pretty sure that most movie that came from a book does not follow the exact script of the book from my experiences.
I really enjoyed this story, its a beautiful romantic feel good story. Worth the credit if your a hopeless romantic. The narration is lovely.
"I just love her books"
Though the story is simple and predictable, I like the fantasy behind it - rich and dominant man and damsel in distress.
Overall, I like all these stories but I expected to get s more teasing challenging beginning to Emily's and Gradus reunion. I guess I'm comparing this story to the other stories with the Sinclair brothers.
"sweet love story"
I enjoyed the story, characters, wish it could have been a bit longer would like the wedding added
"I read this 4th"
great, I read this last and can't wait for the next install! shouldn't have read them all in less than a week
"The Billionair's Christmas."
I found this book boring, too much swearing and sexual innuendos. Not my kind of book. Please remove it from my Kindle p i
I listened to this book in one night.
It's very sexual but with a loven story too.
"Really do not like this narrator,"
I read these books first and really liked them, the narrator who reads all the Sinclair books has ruined them for me. She says everything in a horrible breathy girlie voice even when the person is supposed to be angry. love the story but she has ruined the audio books for me
"Romantic, enjoyable and very seasonal"
Although a little predictable at times, this is still a very good story within the series and also an excellent Christmas read.
A little rushed in parts - not sure why this was so much shorter than the others in the series. Nevertheless, the story and the story teller keeps you wanting to know more. I think it would have benefitted from a bit more detail in parts.
That said I still thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend and will 'read' again.
It was far to short and just seemed so redick less the story was ok but very predicted
