Everyone in Bell Harbor thinks career-minded plastic surgeon Evelyn Rhoades needs a husband. Everyone, that is, except for Evelyn…sort of. Even if she did want a husband (which she doesn’t…most of the time), she’d never let something as intangible as fate determine who she marries. No, if she’s going to find someone to spend her life with, she’ll do it scientifically: With a carefully crafted list of criteria and an Internet dating site.
But when intoxicated, law-breaking Tyler Connelly crashes into her life by way of a stolen Jet Ski, unruly emotions defy common sense. Sure, he’s sexy, charming, and determined to win Evelyn’s affection, but all evidence points to him being the worst possible choice. He’s too young for her. Too irresponsible. Too underemployed. And, oh yeah, he’s her patient.
But Tyler knows firsthand how the best-laid plans can crumble under the weight of destiny. Now all he needs to do is to teach Evelyn that, in matters of the heart, love often supersedes logic.

"Nice beach love story"
This was a very typical love story that happens quite often. Women often have a requirements list if qualities they want their husband to be packaged with. However that is not always true love so it was refreshing to witness these characters be ok with true love instead of the status quo
"An entertaining, funny read!"
writer has a dood sense of humour-this one is worth your time, but it started off a little slow for me. Keep at it!
"The Best Medicine _Perfect title"
Lots of meaning gestures to the readers own heart... from life experiences of any age and type. I found hope, good medicine to remember in my own life if given the chance to put it to use. 8)
I hope it brings the same warm gestures or medicine to others too.
"Was a lovely story, really enjoyed it."
Really enjoyed the book, an amazing story line. Can't wait to hear more for the same author.
"Was a Great book"
Enjoyed her narration, made the story way more enjoyable. I really like the Bell Harbor Series.
"delightful and funny story."
A story of love and personal growth. You'll laugh and be drawn to these characters as they discover a bit about themselves and what is really important to them.
"not too believable"
the story is sweet but not believable. I do enjoy the audio version. it made me smile a lot.
"Good romance but not the narrator"
The author is good. I like how she inserts a lot of humor into her characters. It is a predictable romance which is ok but the narrator is terrible. The voice she uses wants to make scream with annoyance.
This book was so funny. I thought it started a little slow. I wanted Tyler and Evie to spend more time together sooner in the story, but the book was funny. Those dates she went on were comical. The people in the town were funny. Tyler was a total sweetheart. The only character I didn't like was Hilary. She was mean. All in all, it was a good story. I will read more of her books. Don't believe the negative reviews. This book was by far the best audiobook I heard so far.
This was a fun book that made me laugh out loud while driving. It's not a deep story, and I probably wont read it again and again, but I enjoyed it.
"A Charming Read"
This was a nicely written story. A cosy read, something you just want to relax down to with a steaming cup of coffee. I enjoyed it.
My only criticism is I found the Narrator to be a little too hard/aggressive. I just feel it could have been delivered with a 'softer' tone.
