When Gabby first met Elliott she knew he was the man for her. In twenty years of marriage she has never doubted her love for him, but Gabby feels that time and her youth are slipping away. For the first time in her life she is restless. And then she meets the youthful Matt… And in one reckless moment she destroys all that she holds dear. Are some betrayals too great to forgive?

"Compulsively readable. I raced through it" (Daily Mail)
I've read and re-read all Jane Green's books, but this one, my first Jane Green listen, I hated and could not get further than the first couple of hours in.
I'm not put off by other books in this genre, but will not listen to anything Jane Green reads again.
Jane Greens narration was slow, laborious and boring. I could not listen, it was terrible. Sorry Jane, but stick to writing and pay a pro to do the narrating.
None other than dying to switch it off.
"Not your finest Jane Green!"
I'm a huge jane green fan, but I have to admit this wasn't one of my favourites, sorry! The story was ok, but the audio for me, ruined it. It's lovely to have the author read their own books but on this occasion it didn't work!
Enjoyable lighthearted read, a little predictable but that's ok to make it a rounded story that you want to end in this way.
I listened to this book on Audible and it was brilliant. Jane Green at her best, as usual. I love Jane Green
