Mia Lassiter is thrilled to finally put her artistic skills to use working for her aunt's interior design shop in her hometown of East Beach. While renovating an old mansion overlooking stunning Lake Haven, she encounters a scruffy but attractive man named Brennan - the owner's son. She doesn't realize this sexy recluse is actually Everett Alden, the world-famous rock star in hiding who's nursing his own artistic and personal crises.
As their personalities clash, tension simmers between the struggling artist and jaded musician, and their time spent alone together in the gorgeous old house only serves to turn up the heat. Soon, Mia and Brennan's creative passions boil over to inspire passions of another kind...
But reality comes crashing in when Mia's celeb-obsessed cousin discovers Brennan's true identity - and reveals it to the world. As paparazzi swarm the mansion, Brennan is thrust back into his rock star lifestyle. Will Mia lose her soul mate just when she's finally found him? Can their love survive the glaring spotlight?

"A Very PG Rock Star Romance "
This was a very sweet love story that focused less on the rock star and more on the romance. It didn't delve to deep into the life of the rock star like most traditional books so if you're looking for that look elsewhere. This is also a very PG book so of your looking for something a little more steamy, also look elsewhere. This is just a cute sweet simple love story. Worth a listen.
This author never disappoints! This was another great book read by a great narrator. I do recommend it!
"The rock star and the artist -- ROCK!!"
Really enjoyed this book! It was fun and romantic and yes, it's quite sexy. It was SO enjoyable and just what I needed.
Honestly, I was a bit weary going in as I've been surprised in the past with too much sexiness. I love sexy scenes but they have to be done tastefully and they have to add to the story. Julia London definitely delivered.
Argh! I can't express enough how much I enjoyed this story. It was so much fun! I just wish I felt more connected with the characters.
Cristina Panfilio was delightful as a narrator. I loved the different voices she provided each character and she was quite soothing to listen to after a long day of work.
Cheers to an awesome, fun and romantic story!
"Julia london has done it again!"

Yes, especially for the price
I absolutely loved this story! This was my first contemporary novel by Julia London, I usually read her historicals, but this was just as good. And I loved the narrator! She did an amazing job of infusing her voice with the emotions of the characters and changing her tones enough when characters were having conversations that you could tell who was speaking (a big deal for me in audio books)
This was a really nice story. it had a great story line, and believable. I liked the author. Definitely lacking the hot and steamy parts but didnt miss it too much because it was a wonderful love story. I really, really liked the narrator Christian Panfilio.
"refreshing love story"
independent creative Mia as the center made this a great read... I look forward to reading more from the author!
I loved the story told. As a romance novel I personally would have like more details in some of the love scenes. So if you're looking for those really detailed love scenes this isn't that but. However, there was enough detail to keep me enthralled with the overall story.
