For 21-year-old Aleena Davison, it was a life-long dream coming true when she said goodbye to her dreary small-town life in Iowa and moved to Manhattan.
However, it didn't take long for her dream to turn into a nightmare. Everything from the roommate from hell to her asshole of a boss, contributed to her pain and she'd just about given up. That was...until she ran into devilish handsome, Dominic Snow.
The mysterious stranger not only tried saving her waitress job, but also made her an offer she couldn't refuse, a new and much more lucrative job.
"Strictly professional," he'd insisted. But could she trust herself working for the hottest man she'd ever met?

I really liked the story. Aleena and Dominic were great together. It was great hearing the perspective from both the H/h. The only thing that took away from my overall enjoyment was the narrator. While he did an awesome job on the male parts, his narration of the female voice just did not do it for me.
I would have to say even though this series is shorter than fifty shades of grey, I liked this one so much better. It's not about the quantity of the pages, it's about the passion that explodes from the pages! Also the narrator did an excellent job in making each character unique in voices to where you could understand whom was speaking when. I would not be surprised to see this series become a best seller!! Dominic has his demons to overcome, but he just deals with them daily and keeps everyone in his life at an arms distance. That is until he accidentally runs into Aleena, he felt and instant attraction he didn't quite understand. Aleena is a petite bi-racial girl from Iowa who has moved to New York to find herself. What she has found is Dominic. They both help each other become stronger people in the end. And of course there are many steamy, panty wetting, hot scenes! This is a must buy the book and the audio version!!
"M S Packer books😊"
Mind boggling, hot, romantic, and Penelope's character sadly still goes on today. Again we rise above it.
"Too much fuller"
This book was to long for such a short story. The last ten chapters are the book, the rest is a run on sentence. I like to go back and listen to my books this may not be one.
