Becca and Nick were destined to be together. He was the love of her life, or so she thought. Then tragedy strikes and Becca is left heartbroken and devastated. The road to recovery seems almost hopeless at times, but with love and support from the good people of Pride, she's looking forward to putting the past behind her. When Nick's best friend, Sean, returns home a year later, he brings with him an unexpected gift that has her reliving the past all over again.
Sean's homecoming is tarnished with the loss of his best friend along with the recent discovery of his fiancée's infidelities while he was deployed. If Sean needs anything right now it's a good friend to lean on and Becca has always been there for him. When the two decide to get away for a while, they're forced to accept the undeniable attraction between them. But now an unforeseen challenge threatens to rip them apart forever.

"Can she move on?"
Becca, Nick and Sean grew up together. Becca knew that she and Nick would always be together. That didn't happen. When Sean returned home, he brought a box for Becca from Nick. In it was the tickets to the honeymoon that he had planned for them. Becca and Sean decided that they would go ahead and take the trip together. Becca had never been out of the state. Once they are on the trip, they can't deny that there is an attraction. Becca had only ever been with Nick. Can she move on?
"Change of narrator"
I prefer a female narrator. Tanya Eby is the reason I purchased book 1. I also don't want to change narrators in the middle of a series.
"Narration is fine, but glitchy"
There are several instances where a sentence is repeated & at least one where part of a sentence is omitted. Narrator is otherwise good. It's more a matter of poor editing/reviewing.
