listened to whole series one after the other. Fun to see how every character turned out. realistic, no, but who needs real.
Such an enjoyable set of stories and endearing cast of characters. Most enjoyably being able to seamlessly travel from one escapade to another without encumbrance. Knowing the rest of the series is available as a boxset only heightens my desire to experience the remaining trists of Morna's Legacy in the same manner as I did the first, only the audible companion does not yet exist, so I must reiterate my above sentiment: MORE PLEASE...
"Great Listen--Don't question it, buy it"
I love the job of narrating Lily Collingwood has done for the stories in the box set of Morna's Legacy. I greatly enjoyed the stories for the presentation and the fun of it all. I hope there will be more to you Scottish Time Travel Romance series
"Lovely box set of stories."
Don't pass this box set by. Fantastic time travel historical romance. I loved each story.
"be sure to catch this one"
The performance of the narrator was great. I was a little disappointed that Brie's husband Owen was hardly even mentioned in Mittsy's story. but look forward to the next series.
"Loved it! Very interesting and superb performance."
Loved it! The characters were interesting and I love history... best of both worlds! Definitely will find more by this author.
"Love time travel novels - wish there were more!"
These stories were a pleasant surprise! Love time travel, and Scottish backgrounds!
Wish there were more from Bethany Claire and Lily Collingwood
I enjoyed the varied story lines, especially with the shifts in time and the relationships of those who travel between. Many themes are addressed, and done well. This is a light listen, entertaining and informative, just like I needed!
If you are expecting Outlander, this is not it. That is not a bad thing though! As this is a lighter story, the historical details are present, but not as intense as in the other series.
Quite possibly this could be called Morna's Matchmaking!
Give this story a chance and you will not be disappointed!
"Love these books"
Still don't like her voice,
Morna is still my favorite.
I love the clan dynamic and loyalty to each other even across time.
"Morna's Legacy Set #1"
Fast paced time travel romance novels. Not Outlander, but enjoyable nonetheless! I am anxious to start the next set!!
Apart from the narrator, whose accent got nowhere near Scotland but drifted to New York Irish and back, the storyline was weak with the women inadequately drawn and the male characters unbelievable. I would suggest that the writer do some research and she will discover that Gaelic was the spoken and written language in the Highlands at that time and that no one would have understood a word her American characters were speaking.
