Sometimes, the hardest part of finding love is keeping a straight face....
For Jamie Newman, being a single guy isn't proving to be much fun, especially when confronted with a sexually belligerent divorcee and a goddess so far out of his league she might as well be a different species.
Mind you, being a girl in search of love isn't a bowl of cherries either. Just ask Laura McIntyre, who's recently contended with a horny estate agent on a quest for light relief and a rabid mountain bike enthusiast with a penchant for lycra that leaves little to the imagination.
When Jamie and Laura bump into one another (quite literally) it looks like their luck may have changed - but sometimes finding the right person is only the start of your problems....
Love... From Both Sides is a warts-and-all romantic comedy for everyone who knows how tricky the quest for love can be.

"I haven't giggled so much in ages. I sailed through it, only occasionally having to put it down to wipe the tears of mirth from my cheeks." (Daily Mail)
"Clevery constructed and downright hilarious." (Closer)
I loved listening to this story. I found myself becoming more and more invested in the characters and couldn't push the stop button. It was funny and had me laughing out loud regularly. Voice actors were perfect for the characters too!
"Funniest book in a long time"
This book just has me crying with laughter. I just wish they would make the other ones in the series!
"Fruity from both sides too"
No idea. Daft question.
No idea. Daft question.
No but Miss Tragear in particular is a top narrator
It can make you laugh out aloud, especially the first few chapters.
Good fun very enjoyable. Will look for the follow ups.
"Beautiful mismatched love stories"
2 days reading have lead me to the ending of this beautiful story..
I live in a real world...I'm polor opposites to this story but love the book as it unfolds...willing for avenues that I've predicted or missed!
Back to reading, after 3 kids and a dog (and No ACTUAL time to myself for years!!), but have been addicted to this story.
Thank you Nick Spalding
"Funniest Nick Spalding book"
Really enjoyable listen, very funny and quick witted. Parts had me looking like a loon laughing out loud with my ear phones on 😊
"Laugh out loud funny."
Such a funny audiobook. Couldn't stop listening from the first chapter.
Nick Spalding (author) narrated Jamie's part and I've got to say he's pretty monotone and boring to listen to but I would recommend the hard copy to a friend.
I found this to be a very humorous book with two very likeable characters. I will defo listen to more from the author
"loved listening to this going running!"
only problems were laughing loudly and frightening people as I ran past...and ending up running too far!good fun!
"Never laughed so much!"
Outrageously funny, very bold. Love this story, have fallen in love with the writings and voice of Nick Spalding...if only the next book in the series were available on audible in the UK.
Don't knock it till you've tried it! Best comedy I've heard in a long time!
"hilarious and so true"
the only problem I had with this book is there just wasn't enough of it, perceptive, witty, fun and speaking the unspoken!
