Some people work to pay the bills or send the kids to school or afford playtime. Ex-army medic physician assistant Glenn Archer works, as much as she possibly can, to atone for all the lost lives on her conscience. No matter how many patients she helps save at the Rivers Community Hospital, it will never be enough, but it helps her look at herself in the mirror in the morning. Mariana Mateo needs to make a new life, one without the daily reminders of all she's lost and far away from the suffocating sympathies of her well-meaning family, and moving to a place as different as possible from the bustling LA she grew up in seems like a good idea. A cousin she didn't know she had is the only person who knows her in the tiny upstate New York farming community, and that's just the way she wants it. When working side by side with Glenn Archer in the ER makes Mari remember what desire feels like, Mari determines to ignore the feelings, which isn't all that difficult since Glenn is as unapproachable as the beautiful but remote mountains.
A Rivers Community novel.

"Radclyffe never fails..."
Once again Radclyffe nails it! Sweet story. I don't think the narrator did the book justice. Would have been far more enjoyable if Abbey Craden or Nicole Zansiralla was the narrator.
Overall this was a great continuation of the Rivers's Family saga. Radclyffe really makes you connect with the characters so quickly that it's impossible not to want to continue reading and discover what's happening in this now extended family of mine. Hahaha.
"Love the Rivers"
Narration is iffy through the first three quarters of the book, but story is strong enough to carry the performance. Getting updates on all the peripheral characters is such a treat. Can't wait for the next installment.
quick ending, enjoyed the story vbut wished there was more. maybe there are sequels i have to look into it.
Love on Call is another hit from Radclyffe. I had already read it. But I always enjoy the Audible version. Excellent continuation of life at Rivers Community Hospital. Paige McKinney did an excellent job with the narration. BUT we miss AbbyCraden.
"Great Story -- needed Abby"
Again the Radcliffe book was outta sight! Story line beautiful, characters rememberable -- reading -- not so much! Need Abby to narrate everything I hear!! She is such a soulful reader -- with reading -- another RC winner!! Keep writing love the series!! Love anything you write! Keep them coming !
"narration not good"
enjoyed the story , but the narration was very tough to get through. Facebook would probably be a good read but I wouldn't listen to it again
The narrator is basically ruin any chance to enjoy this book. All characters sound the same and by the same I mean forced and lack of emotion.
just wush there was a carly story too. i really thiught u would have made glenn and carly an item all in all it was a great trilogy
loved it. the narrator was on top of her game as usual, and she did justice to the story line. can't wait for a Blake / Carrie story.
"Really good Romance Novel but...."
you have to read the first two books in the series to have any idea what is going in the story. With all the side characters in the story it gets kind of confusing to follow the story.
"Damaged iris in my eye so I listened to this book"
Excellent book and so well read I'm probably listen to it again soon too as I enjoyed it so much
