"fun and entertaining"
this book was fun to listen to and I couldn't wait to listen to each chapter. never dull or drowned on at all. it's not a deep story but light and fun . hope everyone enjoys as much as I did.
love it from start to finish! a great read, and the performance was awesome.

"love Carolyn Brown"
Good narrative. Cute story.
Many of Carolyn Brown's stories have a similar theme of finding love. Any of them in this contemporary romance genre are good enough to recommend.
Almost all of them.
Lots of smiles while listening.
I hope Carolyn Brown keeps writing. I appreciate as well that so many titles are available on kindle unlimited. My favorite is still The Ladies Room.
"Do one before the other"
Just read "long hot Texas Summers" before "Daisies In the Canyon" it will make story flow better.
Nice fill good books.
"what a story!"
Carolyn Brown has done it again! just goes to show true love last for ever
"Great summer book!"
Long Hot Texas Summer was a book that transported me to a Texas ranch. I love how the characters walk down memory lane. Any book that can remind you of what its like to skinny dip and sneak a beer as a teenager is a great book. I loved the story, the characters and the romance. I can't wait to listen to it again.
Loretta Sullivan Bailey juggles being a mother, daughter, sister and divorced woman with class and style. She isn't one to back down or hold her tongue. The woman is a perfect combination of strength and venerability. Not to mention she knows how to handle a hot cowboy.
Some how Laural Merlington made Jackson sound so very sexy. His voice sent a little shiver down my spine.
The elderly cook, Rosie, because she is a senior still running a house and telling people the truth. I love her spunk and her wit. She reminds me of a perfect grandmother or housekeeper.
Long Hot Texas Summer was a fun book that I couldn't put down. Its hard to get the southern accent and feel just right. Miz Carolyn Brown and narrator Laural Merlington did a great job. Its a book that I will listen to again and again. Every time I listen to it, I'll feel like I'm revisiting Texas, my youth and my present.
