"Book 5 but a stand alone"
This book is the age old story of a boss lusting after his secretary, but done very well and it kept me interested. The leading lady has been putting up with her overbearing bosses crud for 5 years, all the while planning her future with her fiance who is just about done in dental school...she has a plan, he will finish school, get a great job and she can quit the second job she has been working to make ends meet and then she will get to go back to school....5 years she has been working on this plan and the month before their wedding she finds him with another woman in a compromising situation. Now she has to move on with her life and deal with her boss...a man who has secretly wanted her for 5 years and would have never let her get married...he was just biding his time until she realized she was with an idiot, well his time is now and he won't let her go!
This is technically book 5, and there were some references to past books, but I was able to keep up just fine and enjoy the story. In fact, I just put all the books into my wishlist to gobble up if there is ever a sale on them because they sounded great!
Narrator was great too, all around nice steamy listen!
"One of the Better Billionaire stories- Much Better"
This is the second book, (read out of order) that I have read in this series. I really liked this one much more. This one is deep, and interesting. It was pretty good, and Yes its worth a credit!
"Are we all reading the same book????"
All those 5 stars for this book and this narrator? Seriously? To begin with Elizabeth Powers is awful! The funny pauses and the slowness of her delivery was enough for me to jump off a cliff to save myself from the frustration. The story was soooo weak and simple that I could imagine my 13 year old writing it. A billionaire who is so in love with his assistant that he never slept with anyone else in the four years she worked for him when all they did was battle at work and that's it? Oh yes and to add to it, the matter of him murdering someone was so a okay by the heroine that it was an obvious OF COURSE YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. Yyyyyyah. Veeeeery believable. Just a ridiculous story, poorly written and with unbelievable characters. I say don't waist your credit or time. Move on to something better.
"Quality Story and Performance"
Definitely. I loved the story and characters. The narrator is excellent. The series is fun, with alpha men and women who have backbones and a life of their own, outside what their billionaire sweetie is involved with.
Travis. He raises alpha to a new level sometimes, and sometimes he makes you growl in frustration, but he has a heart of gold and a sweet, mushy center only for Ally.
She doesn't make the common mistake of trying too hard to sound like opposite sex characters. Very often, male narrators try to speak in a very high voice for female characters and female narrators try to make their voices too deep for male characters. She changes her voice just enough to tell who is speaking without going overboard or overacting. She speaks clearly and has the use of proper inflection down to an art.
"One of the Best in the Series"
The Whole Series is Amazing. I Read them All a Few Years Ago. It started out with the first four books being about a Simon and Kara but then went on to his brother Sam then a Max and All their Family and Friends. I love how she incorporated the new characters and kept the others still active in each books. And the Erotic Parts of the Books are Frequent, Hot, and Guaranteed to Heat your Blood. She is a Wonderful Author who has Other Great Ones Out there to such as The Vampire Coalition Series, The Sentinel Series, Etc. However this Series is the Largest, I think. You will Love Some Entertaining, Fun and Hot Books with Ms. Scott.
"Series was a Very nice surprise"
I started out this series with caution, however as I kept going in the first book I truly enjoyed it. I kept saying one more and I'm done. Well I finished the series and book 7 was my favorite. Now I'm going to start the other series that ties into this one.
The story, it was great
The Billionaire Undone by J.S. Scott was a great book. I loved Travis in The Billionaire's Salvation and wanted to see him be happy. Ally was Travis' employee for four years when her life gets turned upside down when she finds her fiance cheating on her. I absolutely loved how Travis and Ally get together and become closer. This is a must read series that I believe everyone should read. I can't wait to read more by J.S. Scott.
"I simply luv it. Everything about it ."
A true love story with a happy ending. I hope that there is a continuation to it.
"Ok love story."
I completed the story but didn't find it a book I couldn't put down. There were some hot scenes but also some less than sex words used like anus...seriously! Not hot....lol
"author and narrator are the BEST"
Believable, Dreams come true, Uplifting
I love all JS Scotts. Books all have the same. "Loves finds you and saves you " theme but they are all different. She's a creative author. She also relates the characters from novel to novel. I look forward to the next book. She's good. It's so enjoyable!
Travis. His brothers. And Allison. They are all great. It's amazing how she sounds so different . I like her work so much that just like I buy all JS Scott's books; I buy other authors books when Elizabeth powers is the narrator. She's great
Love will realize your dreams
If you have not read Scott's work you must!
Another great book by J S Scott
Love the romance in these books.
Elizabeth Powers is a good narrator and brings life to the characters.
Very erotic story but it's a bit on the short side. Nicely narrated. Would like more available in this series.
"Another Awesome Read 😀"
Excellent story with a perfect fit within the series. As with the other stories, this one has excellent descriptions of events and lifestyle helping the 'reader' feel they are actually there.
The sexual element is descriptive enough to fit within the storyline and for the reader to enjoy the erotica without but crude or over the top.
Highly recommended, although to fully enjoy, this should be read as part of the series
romance at its best. brilliantly read was clear and dreamy had everything a good romance/saucy book should have. won't disappoint.
