When Tyler Campbell meets Susie Lombardi in a coffee shop, he doesn't expect to sleep with her that night.
He also doesn't expect to fall in love.
But Susie doesn't want a boyfriend. She lives alone in a house full of locked doors and combination safes, unwilling to answer Tyler's questions about her past, or her future.
Susie gives Tyler the usual excuses, intent on crushing his hope of a future together.
But she doesn't know that when the right guy finds you, he won't give up.
How far is Susie willing to run from love? And how far is Tyler willing to chase her?

"Great Writer!!! Wish Audible had more like this!!"
3 HOT Sex Scenes... intense love story... on the down side... poorly done ending... not the ending I'd hoped for... abrupt.
Great Narration by Muffy... good male impersonation
This was purchased on a whim. I found it interesting and at times disturbing. The voices at times were a little confusing but otherwise not a bad read/listen
I actually didn't mind the first 1/3 of the book. Typical new relationship with drama and suspense. It changed quickly into a book that wasn't for me shortly after that though. Not a fan of drug use, voyeurism and abuse. Some scenes were so overly descriptive that I had to forward through them and the Halloween party chapter was so long and tedious that I stopped listening to the book period at that point. I purchased this book on a whim and regret it. While I found that the narrators did a great job with presenting it, I would most definitely NOT recommend it.
I found for the most part that I was annoyed with the cyclical nature of the protagonists and found the change in writing from to the point to overly descriptive frustrating. It's like the scenes were expanded just to make the book longer which served no purpose to the storyline. This is the first book that I truly had no desire to complete.
The whole book through I keep waitng for something to happen. I find the characters annoying and the "erotic episodes" repetetive and nothing special at all. In the last chapters it gets a bit more interesteing, but only a little bit. Could possibly appeal to a younger reader. For me (in my 40's) it is just boring.
"Long; Mostly juvenile with a lot of sex"
With all of the explicit sex in the book, I certainly don’t mean that this book is for young people AT ALL! But, even though the H & h are in their mid 20s, they act very immature or very young, not centered and with wisdom that comes with age and experience. So the book isn’t bad, but, as a 40+ year old, it didn’t work for me. The angst and drama were of the very early adult sort. It’s likely because they were still undergrad students, though they were older. Another problem was that the immediate love was supposedly based on a “connection,” but that connection was, generally, only stated never shown. So it was mostly unconvincing and ultimately ended up being all about the sex which, again, is immature and not actually love at all. The book is broken up into 4 parts; it’s long. So, once the rosy part of the relationship shifts, some of the immature nature recedes. The one good part about it being so long is that you get a chance to see most of the relationship develop, though the book still could’ve been a bit briefer. I ended up fast forwarding a lot during the last two parts and didn’t seem to miss any critical part. It was good that there were two narrators, but I think the female narrator, b/c of her easy pacing, did a better job with all of the drama. The h’s mystery, once revealed, was not surprising, at least not most of it, given the hints we get along the way. The ending worked well.
it starts off a bit slow, but gets really good. The female narrator is awesome. The male narrator does good with male voices, but is a little tiny bit cheesy with female voices. still totally worth it!
Good narration...loved the story line. it was easy to listen too. Totally enjoyed this book.
"What a surprise listen!!"
A few reviews mentioned this book was geared toward a younger group... the characters are in their 20s. Sometimes they are immuture but I still liked this book. I knew this book would be a very hot listen... I didn't expect the layer's of depth. I'm glad I gave up a credit for it. The narrator's were a bonus to the book. They did a great job!
Wasted money, time. I can't say what really want to because the words are very bad.
Great book. Towards the end I just couldn't wait to find time to listen more.
