Danach wieder Theaterhochschule, Engagements in Berlin und Erfurt. 1975 Schauspieldirektor in Magdeburg. Seit 1980 in Halle, wo er 1981 Intendant des von ihm gegründeten "neuen theaters" wurde. Seit 1991 ist Sodann im "Tatort" als Kommissar Ehrlicher zu sehen.

Und doch trifft einen auch hier manchmal unvermittelt ein Wort, das wie eine sonnige Bergspitze aus dem schmutzigen Nebel ragt. Das 'Vater unser' ist eine solche Spitze - besonders das von Peter Sodann.
