Jennifer Parker, a brilliant and beautiful young lawyer, survives shattering career setbacks to become one of the most successful defense attorneys in America. Jennifer's strength and beauty win the love of 2 powerful men, but earn her the implacable hatred of a third. Adam Warner, man of integrity, born to lead his country, is tied by honor and obligation to his wife. Michael Moretti, compelling Mafia boss, nearly destroys Jennifer's career before it begins. Robert DiSilva, the D.A. who fought his way to the top, neither forgets nor forgives those who cross him. Superman's Susannah York narrates this timely and memorable tale of a modern-day heroine. "Sheldon's best by far...tense, exciting courtroom drama...poignant love story...suspense and terror." (Dallas Morning News)

"Great Book, poor reader who took long breaks"
A Good Book
A better reader that did not stop for 45 seconds between words and paragraphs. More than once I turn my phone on and off thinking it had stopped working.
"Very Good, Fast Moving and Entertaining"
I read this book years and years (and years) ago and enjoyed revisiting it in audio version. I would recommended it for its fast pace and interesting (although pretty predictable) story lines.
"riveting... and depressing"
Takes you on a pretty interesting ride, but the end sucks... rather ride somewhere else.
Just depressing most of the way through... kept hoping it would be worth it.
Riveted, but depressed.
"A turn page, or hours listening"
Exciting story and well performed. The audio is remastered, so the quality isn't the best, but still good.
this was a fun and entertaining ride
love empowered women
her son passing
I only listen when I am driving
"Excellent story if you can get past the pauses"
I love this story. I wanted a drama with a touch of romance. This delivered. The narration was very good but the long pauses and silences were very distracting. I kept having to see if my device had stopped only to learn they inserted an unusually long pause in the production. If you get past that then I highly recommend this book.
"Rage of Angels"
Not really, but I read it years ago
Several, check my library
Remove chapter 48, which is repeated twice
"Book was ok."
It was a good, but I expected more from author. This was not his best work.
I like Sidney Sheldon's books this one was good, not the best book ever but it was worth buying. Easy listening.
"The Cosa Nostra...."
Lorelei King brought Sidney Sheldon's book to life wonderfully for me. I didn't have any problem finishing it. I think that Sidney Sheldon has a deft hand at painting his picture with words, he described several foreign cities that I have yet to visit in concise but evocative detail, putting me right into the scene. I finally looked Lorelei King up on the internet and now I understand why she has such good diction, and such accurate mimicry - she's an American born British actress - I could listen to her reciting the phone book and still enjoy it.
"struggled to finish"
Did not enjoy voice of narrator will try taster next time I purchase a book
I love Sidney Sheldons books .... And this Did not disappoint ...... Twists and turns and I live the story line
