Julie Prentice and her family move across the country to the idyllic Mount Adams district of Cincinnati, hoping to evade the stalker who's been terrorizing them ever since the publication of her bestselling novel, The Murder Game. Since Julie doesn't know anyone in her new town, when she meets her neighbor John Dunbar, their instant connection brings measured hope for a new beginning. But she never imagines that a simple, benign conversation with him could set her life spinning so far off course.
We know where you live....
After a series of misunderstandings, Julie and her family become the target of increasingly unsettling harassment. Has Julie's stalker found her, or are her neighbors out to get her, too? As tension in the neighborhood rises, new friends turn into enemies, and the results are deadly.

"A look into the mind of a psychopath"
At the most basic level Fractured is about disagreements between neighbors. Only one is a psychopath writer and the other a homeowners association president with a determination to control. It is the mildest psychological thriller I have ever listened to. There is little suspense. Narration is excellent. There are too many really excellent novels of this genre to listened to this novel. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Good story but kind of confusing. There was too much flashing back and forth in time. Hard to keep up.
What a great book! A fascinating plot that keeps you guessing. Can't wait for The Murder Game!
"Stalked: Is It Me???"
The narrators, they made the book.
I don't know there's so many stalking books out there, they're getting to be all the same in one way or another. Don't get me wrong, this is a serious issue, I've had a friend who was "stalked!" The thing is that very rarely do you come across a book that actually "CAPTURES" this issue, and one that I have read is " THE BOOK OF YOU!! Now there's a book that leaves you thinking....
Cindy made me laugh, Susan, there was something about her voice I thought I knew, and John's was the logical one.
When moving, Check out your neighbors!!!
Change the book cover- tacky 😱
"Fantastic, loved it."
A great novel, with much suspense and plenty to keep you listening. The performance is also excellent. Highly recommended.
"almost quit- finished, but book wont stick with me"
the beginning is very confusing, its switches back and forth with no different narration. I was up to Chapter 14 and was still very confused. Who was speaking? Who was where? Not great character development to differentiate. It was ok
Nope, I couldn't get into it, did't care about any of the characters, so in the end I couldn't care less about who got hurt/killed in the accident in the end.
No, I love mysteries.
I did like the different voices, they helped in distinguishing the different chapters.
No, I was just surprised by all the positive reviews about this book.... I was just glad I was done with it in the end, and I would really consider myself a very easy person to entertain. I do like to give positive reviews, but I just did not care about any of the characters which is highly unlike me.
Couldn't stop listening to it. Loved it! Especially if you are from Cincinnati - there are all kinds of references from our hometown, which is fun. Even if not, it is a great read.
I spent the entire book on the edge of my seat waiting on the story to unfold. When it finally did, I was a bit disappointed. The author did a great job keeping me pulled in. Performance was good, but not great.
"Never made it to find out what "it" was."
I tried to like it. Went back to it 10 times and tried to understand what happened. Someone was killed, but I never made it to who or how.
I do know if I lived in a neighborhood were ppl have nothing better to do than post my every move, I'd find another place to live.
I finally returned it.
