Everyone goes to Finnegan's....
It's a pub in lower Manhattan, run by the Finnegan family for generations and now owned by Kieran and her three brothers. Kieran Finnegan, who still works there whenever she can, has become a criminal psychologist - a fitting reaction, perhaps, to her less-than-lawful past.
Meanwhile, New York's Diamond District has been hit by a rash of thefts. No one's been killed - until now. FBI agent Craig Frasier is brought in to investigate; he and Kieran meet at a jewelry store in the middle of a heist. She's there to "unsteal" a flawless stone taken by her light-fingered youngest brother as an act of vengeance. He's there to stop the gang.
But the police and FBI soon discover that there are two gangs of diamond thieves, the original and a copycat group of killers. And the second group seems to think their scheme is as flawless as the stones they steal.
Thrown together by circumstance, drawn together by attraction, Kieran and Craig both end up working on the case. Unfortunately, there's more and more evidence that, somehow, the pub is involved. Because everyone goes to Finnegan's....

"On the rocks"
This was the first time I read Heather Graham. I'm not sure if all her novels are the same, half detective story and half romance. It didn't work for me. It seemed like each part was half baked. However, if this is her standard, then I'm sure I'm in the minority as she is well liked. It also didn't help that the narrator spoke in a loud whisper and was often breathy.
"Worth The Credit"
I really enjoyed this novel. I didn't look at the length when I purchased it so I wish it was longer, but it had a nice ending. The dialogue was occasionally corny and the author tends to use the same descriptive words in consecutive sentences which I thought was a little weird; but other than that it's a pretty good book and I recommend it.
"Plastic Characters distract from the plot"
I've listened to most of her books. I find the plot lines interesting and many of the supporting characters engaging. I really wish she would retire Barbie and Ken as her main characters. Her books would be much better if she had real people as her principal protagonists.
"Really good listen"
Liked this, my first of hers. Story was good, not too convoluted and kept you waiting
