The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works. However, the portrait, secretly hidden in the attic of his residence and with which he has grown increasingly obsessed, does.

Amidst this destruction, a father and his young son walk, always toward the coast, but with no real understanding that circumstances will improve once they arrive.
