Packed full of fun and adventure with Winnie-the-Pooh and all his friends in the Hundred Acre Forest. This is a wonderful dramatisation of Winnie-the-Pooh by David Benedictus with music composed, directed and played by John Gould. With a cast of carefully-chosen actors, this adaptation conveys all the magic of Milne's classic stories.

The cast includes the following stars:

Pooh - Stephen Fry

Piglet - Jane Horrocks

Eeyore - Geoffrey Palmer

Kanga - Judi Dench

Roo - Finty Williams

Rabbit - Robert Daws

Owl - Michael Williams

Christopher Robin - Steven Webb

Perfect cast made it an absolute delight. Piglet was my favourite voice, although it was nearly impossible to choose.

Voice acting on an audible book really makes it come alive and makes it much more fun to listen to. in this book the cast are great and the addition of a little music makes it really enjoyable to listen to

Great voice acting

The voices are perfect, the characters are gentle and earnest. Captures how it sounds in your imagination, if not better. I found the multiple narrators a little confusing at first, but soon forgot about it because I was so completely charmed by every voice - especially Pooh, Piglet and Eeyor.

Just the best

A fantastic adaptation, as a child Winnie the Pooh brought me much joy and as an adult now I'm still comforted by these stories. The performance is fantastic (as expected from the likes of Judi Dench and Stephen Fry) and brings the characters even further to life. I've listened to this audio book quite a few times and would recommend it to anyone with small children or in need of some nostalgia. Works wonders at nap time (tried and tested on two five year olds), and works wonders for the soul.

Brilliant for Those Young and Old

Just what the doctor ordered as I took to my bed with Covid!
Geoffrey Palmer as Eeyore transcends even his role as Lionel in 'As Time Goes By'!!
Brilliant and certainly met the need of the hour.

Comfort in Covid isolation!
