The Christmasaurus is a story about a boy named William Trundle and a dinosaur, the Christmasaurus. It's about how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure.
It's about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic. It's about discovering your heart's true desire and learning that the impossible might just be possible....

My nearly 10 year old boy and I loved listening to The Christmasaurus. It's got a good plot and the magic and joy of Christmas (and dinosaurs!) all in one. Though my son gave it 4 1/2 stars because of the "corny romantic bit" !!
An absolutely gorgeous book to read or listen to. The perfect book to put some magic back in our lives and just in time for Christmas. Beautifully written and lovingly told this story will stay in my heart forever.
Brilliant magical story that will bring a smile to both kids and adults. Very British and full of funny fantastic words. A joy to read!
"Spellbindingly magical Christmas tale"
Bought this for my five year old granddaughter to listen to while we were on holiday, when driving.
We were both entranced by this story and eager to hear what would happen next.
Absolutely loved it!!
Already started listening though a second time ...
"Great Christmas story with a Roald Dahl feel to it"
I think this one will be re listened to my children were the wrong way around for this. My 7yr old daughter loved the Christmas stuff but not a fan of dinosaurs and my 5yr old son loved the dinosaur bits but not old enough to follow the in between bits yet. Meanwhile mummy loved it, the story had a real Roald Dahl feel to the writing and the narrator was brilliant. I would have been tongue twisted if I had been reading the book version and the songs were great. There were some great side topics covered in the story including disability and bullying and it was refreshing to have different family structures to the typically portrayed mum dad and two kids set up. Definately one I'd recommend to 7yrs and over particularly if they love dinosaurs.
It really sounds like Santa is reading it and the story is so detailed
"Thoroughly enjoyed on long road trip"
My children of 8 & 10 really enjoyed this wonderful story on our long car journey towards our Christmas holiday.
I was listening to this at almost the same time my daughter was reading it to my youngest grandson! I think that both he and I enjoyed it almost as much! I'm sure I would have loved listening to my daughter read it - but Paul Shelley did an excellent job instead! Don't hesitate!
