Happily, each item is picked up by helpful animals who join the grateful witch and her cat on their travels. But is there really room on the broom for so many new friends? And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from the clutches of a hungry dragon?
This very funny story of quick wits and friendship will captivate children with its irresistible verse.

Kids love it. Just like the book, but with singing. Listen to it many times.
never saw print version
Loved the music and sound effects; teach 4th graders and they were incredibly engaged!
The wind blowing as they flew and te wand flying away into the water.
Great activity to add to Book Character Day!
"Great bedtime story!"
My twins love to listen to this before bed! The song and story are both terrific
"Not appropriate for young children"
I thought I was going to love this book because I love some of the authors other books but here is what happened. I put this on for two three year olds and I had a hard time engaging them. Lastly there was one part where the witch crackles and they engaged at that point. It scared them so much they had nightmares that night. This book is not appropriate for three year olds that is for sure.
my daughter loves the movie and the book and she is always telling the story as if she was a story teller So I decided to get her this audio Book and she loved it. It is also super cute the way it is told and the music and everything.
A wonderful performance, and there's even an included song in chapter 2 :) Very worthwhile!
"great for car journeys with my toddler daughter"
I bought this for my daughter as she loves the book she now spends most car journeys singing the song.
A wonderful performance of a lovely book. Enjoyed by both children, 1 and 4. Children also like the song afterwards.
"A wonderful story, beautifully narrated."
My 2 year old daughter loves Julia Donaldson books, and this is one of her favourites. It really fuels her imagination as she loves animals. I also think the story teaches them compassion and tolerance for other 'species.' And most importantly, looking out for each other.
It's beautifully narrated by Josie Lawrence with a song at the end which my daughter loves and signs along to.
"Another Magical Tale from Donaldoson"
Julie Donaldson has written several of my children favourite books, and this has gone straight up to the top few. Once again the pace, imagery and characters hold the rapt attention of not only my 8 year old daughter but also my 2 year old. I would recommend this book to anyone with children who love a magical story that transports you into a different world.
"Room On The Broom"
My little girl loves this story and the narrator doesn't disappoint! Excellent rhyming and brilliantly read!
"16 minutes of pleasure"
The description doesn't mention, but this audiobook also includes the Room on the Broom song by Julia Donaldson. What a pleasant surprise! My almost 3 y.old loves it and so do I. Highly recommended!!!
