Discover the vital relationship that will take your company from "what's next?" to "we have liftoff!" Visionaries have groundbreaking ideas. Integrators make those ideas realities. This explosive combination is the key to getting everything you want out of your business. It worked for Disney. It worked for McDonald's. It worked for Ford. It can work for you. From the author of the best-selling Traction, Rocket Fuel details the integral roles of the visionary and integrator and explains how an effective relationship between the two can help your business thrive. Offering advice to help visionary-minded and integrator-minded individuals find one another, Rocket Fuel also features assessments, so you're able to determine whether you're a visionary or an integrator. Without an integrator, a visionary is far less likely to succeed long term and realize the company's ultimate goals; likewise, with no visionary, an integrator can't rise to his or her full potential. When these two people come together to share their natural talents and innate skill sets, it's like rocket fuel - they have the power to reach new heights for virtually any company or organization.

Must read for any business owner or leadership team!
Great takeaways from this book that I'm implementing now. Thank you!
"thanks what a great book"
this is a straightforward get down to business book that illuminates our greatest opportunity. To align our leadership
"now it all makes sense"
some 10 years ago I actually hired an integrator without knowing what I had actually accomplished. next time I'll see what I can do to not sabotage then. I'd say "lol" but it really wasn't funny at all.
what a great game plan.
I found the information in the book extremely helpful in designing an Integrator job profile
"Outstanding material for moonshot entrepreneurs"
I work in the business of growing companies and find Mark and Gino's insight here to be profound for those at the head of an organization.
"Real world advice"
As an integrator, it has been difficult to find the right visionary. Once you find the one the business world becomes a great playground.
Any business owner should read or listen to this book as it helps to clarify your roles simplifying your day in a way that by playing to your strength you can achieve many great goals
"Easy read, dynamic results"
Easy read, straight forward guidelines and tools. Highly recommended for business owners trying to perform all duties. "You can do everything, but only one thing at a time."
"Solid book – but I'm too small to be a "smallbiz""
This is a solid, helpful book – Sadly I'm just too small an operation to be considered a small business. The author states they wrote the book for small businesses – sized $2m to $50 million annual turnover. So they talk a lot about "the organization" in ways that make it obvious the book's not written for entrepreneurs.
That's my mistake – I, albeit wrongly, have a hard time considering a $25 business "small".
So it wasn't for me – but if you're a leader in a larger... ahem... small business... it may be a good read!
It seems like Tim Cook is the Integrator that Steve Jobs needed. Steve Jobs clearly having been a Visionary, it's interesting to see Apple now being led by the Integrator – where's their Visionary? They should have kept Scott Forstall :)
Excellent book, really hit it home.... I need to find the yin to my yang to really succeed!
