"I Loved It!"
The audio book content, the narrator, every thing perfect!
This is one of the very few audio books I intently enjoyed listening to, from the beginning to the end.
It makes us become aware, with the very essential aspects of life that we take for granted or even never given thought to.
It is very well elaborated and easily presented by the narrator.
I definitely recommend this book to any one, and I mean any one!
I will unquestionably rat it five stars.
This is an awesome book! If your reading this your thinking about it so go for it. He uses 12 topics or principles that every person should have in their day. He calls it the daily dozen. I feel if you could just use one or two and apply them to your life it would be worth the money.
I have listened to this book three times and plan on listening to it more until I have all the daily dozen memorized with the facts behind them. This book really has the ability to change your life if you let it.
The thing about the daily dozen is they arent principles out of reach. Anyone can live by them or apply them.
And on the finance principle, let me recommend Dave Ramsey for help on that.
On the Faith principle, let me recommend Jesus Christ. He changed my life more than anyone ever has.
"Save your money!"
This book is a disappointment; the author regurgitates the same old "don't let your life slip away" lines. He presents a few commonly understood "principles" and spends the other 90% of the book talking about himself to illustrate his points. This would be fine if the reader learned something new....not the case here. Save your money.
Very informative and great guide to helping to determine how important your daily routine is.
"Good short version; could use a print resource"
Make Today Count is a great reminder of what is important in life and it also provides a formula or system on how to grow with intention in the areas that matter to you, whether you choose the same 12 areas as John or your own. The approach he shares is adaptable and effective -- if you actually do it.
Make Today Count is a short version of Today Matters, capturing the key points and illustrations.
Lew Grenville sounds so much like John Maxwell, it's uncanny. I've spent a lot of time with John and know his voice well, and I was amazed at how much Lew sounds like John.
The book provides a number or instruction points, reflective questions, etc. It would be VERY helpful if it came with a PDF document of these from each chapter. This is the type of book that naturally lends itself to have the companion resource, so it's disappointing that was not included. Docked one star for that, but it's very good even without it.
"The final chapter is the best."
The author does a very good job of focusing on making decisions. Some readers may be turned off by the substantial religious overtones, and others will find those same religious overtones to make the book more palatable.
"A quick read with a lot of useful information"
Most of the advise given in the book can be implemented immediately and can really help you live the life you choose to live.
"excellent guidelines for life planning"
included excellent tips and guidelines for putting a sound plan for all different areas of life.
"Great advice for self improvement"
This book is full of great stuff to help with personal growth. I'm looking forward to implementing this in my life.
"Good rules for consistent results "
Narrator put me to sleep. the book was great though. it truly is a bible for lifelong success. I endorse it
