"Can't wait to put into practice"
Learned soooo much from this title and I can't wait to begin to put this into practice to see if it really works. Great book on "working together" and it should be fun coming up with creative ways to show my workers about the importance of their work, autonomy and cheering others on!
I was assigned this book for my management class, and to be honest didn't want to read it. But as I started and finished the book, quite quickly. I found the story extremely interesting, and at the same time it taught me a lot about being successful in business!
I think it was something to really listened to and really think. a lot of people should listen or read.
"Better book ever"
this is the best book ever to describe the importance of working with a purpose on any organization.
Don't waste your time reading other books.
"Favorite book in self help"
I have listened to this book three times in 6 months. I just wish I could express my enthusiasm I have for this book. I am looking for framed print that captures this book. Once you listen to it you will understand the squirrel, beaver and goose.
The ending is really sad but that might be the best part of it. I wish everyone would read this book.
Great lesson for a new manger taking over an organization in need of a boost in organization pride.
"The story was nice but....."
The storyteller was nice. There was stuff omitted from the book. Be careful, have the paper copy available and follow the audiobook just to make sure it's all there.
"Timeless, effective and inspiring"
worth a listen for anyone feeling like work can and should feel rewarding. buying the book for breakdowns and reference.
Good one for all to read interested to improve the performance of their team. Big thumbs up.. Will listen again
"Will listen to again"
Simply put but so true. Many nuggets that if applied will make a change in any organization. I will listen again and take notes next time.
"Excellent listen, packed with insight"
A simple and memorable fable packed with timeless wisdom.
Well read too! Recommend this to every manager and aspiring manager.
