Publisher's Summary
This is a true story of one woman's life with violence. I wrote this book to let other victims know that they are not alone. I also wrote this to help with my own healing. Writing this book has been a form of therapy for me and perhaps better than professional therapy might have been.
Being in a dysfunctional relationship for so long, battling extreme violence has been baffling until now. Seeing the relationship now from the outside has revealed its true nature.
I've heard of an analogy about only being able to see the room that you are in, and not being able to see the house until outside of it.
