Publisher's Summary

I sold my soul to a man I hate. Now, he owns me.

I had a plan: Sign a contract, and board a plane to Ibiza. The anonymous deal would salvage the smoldering wreckage of my life.

It would not involve billionaire Harrison King, the reason I need saving in the first place.

He’s as beautiful as he is cruel. A British business titan who makes a living getting what he wants.

The man flies private. Dates supermodels. But the crisp accent and cocky smirk don’t fool me. He’s a gentleman on the outside, a savage beneath. Dangerous, rough, and brutal.

Because after my attempt to publicly stand up for those who needed it....

He destroyed my reputation.

Now, he’s come for the rest of me.

Except it’s not salvation he’s promising. It’s nights in Ibiza, under his roof, rules, his control.

I can’t back out. No matter what he has in store for me.

Harrison King knows my secrets....

But kings keep secrets, too.

Beautiful Enemy is an enthralling, explosive romance from USA Today best-selling author Piper Lawson. You’ll want to binge Harrison and Rae’s entire addictive story.

*Here is my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/ChSSjYUvO...

One of the great things that piqued my interest with this series was the lead heroine being a DJ, which apart from being very unique, is very close to home for me – I married a DJ back in the Halcyon days of Dance Music of 1999-2000s.

While this book can be read on it’s own, Harrison & Rae’s story began in Piper’s Love Song/Rivals Series, as Anne and Tyler’s friend’s who have a heated encounter at their wedding.
Rae accuses Harrison of mistreatment of his staff after she witnessed this during one of her gigs in an online review/rant which sets them off in a collision course of relationship chemistry that is off the charts steamy, hot and explosive!

Her online rant damages her reputation and Rae decides to take a gig in Ibiza to get away from the fall-out, but also try and establish herself in the biggest dance music scene in the world: Ibiza, Spain where DJs are Rock Stars and treated like Gods.

Little does Rae know that the owner of the nightclub she has signed up with for the 4 week residency in Ibiza, is owned by none other than the arrogant British Billionaire Harrison King who is determined to get his revenge.

They both have their own baggage and ghosts that haunt them:
Harrison with his broken heart, and loss over his parent’s untimely death and his determination to acquire the property deal of a lifetime, avenge his rival and restore their reputation.

Rae with her own burdens she carries from her childhood, since the breakdown of her parents’ marriage when she was only a teenager.

Neither of them is looking for love and there is a 10 year gap between them, but the sizzle is real with these two as they continue to tease and flirt with each other.

While Harrison finds Rae's sassiness, infuriating and challenges his everything, he begins to see Rae is also genuine, caring and stunningly beautiful and can’t help but fall for her.
Rae equally, is seeing a different side to Harrison and the sizzle between these two is captivating and pulls you in from the get-go.

We also see some interesting side-characters in this book, particularly Harrison's younger super-star footballer (soccer) brother Ash and their banter makes for some funny moments.

Right off the bat, this was a very easy listen for me not just because of the story, but because of the delicious pairing of Samantha and Shane: I devoured this audiobook.

I had been looking forward to this pairing for what feels like ages as a massive fan of both of them, I knew they wouldn’t disappoint – and they didn’t – they were perfect.

I had already read the series earlier this year, and anytime I see a book with a British Hero I hear the sonorous tones of Shane East in my ears. I mean at this point who doesn’t?

Of course, he didn’t disappoint: Shane’s portrayal of the arrogant, broody, handsome Brit is flawless and perfectly captures Harrison’s emotions as he shifts to the all-consuming and passionate lover – at this point Shane could make me fall for anyone his depth of talent is awe inspiring.

Equally Samantha’s portrayal of the fiery, sassy yet caring and beautiful Rae is impeccable and captures the emotions of Rae as she too shifts into the soft and vulnerable Rae who opens her heart to Harrison.
I absolutely adore Samantha, she has such great range with a depth of talent, her English accent work in this is outstanding.

Together Shane and Samantha make the perfect Harrison King and Rae (Reagan) Madani (DJ Little Queen) (King & Queen is very cute – I see what Piper did there).

I already loved this story when I read the books, and listening to Samantha and Shane take me on this delicious journey has me loving this story even more!

I can’t wait to start the next book #2: Beautiful Sins and get my next instalment of the magic that is #Eastmoor.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
