Publisher's Summary

It is about two women, Fatima Candeleiro and Clara Drayton, who find themselves involved in different circumstances of revenge.

Fatima, a Brazilian head teacher, is being threatened as a consequence of a decision she made some time ago. Then, she dismissed a pair of untrustworthy coaches from her school, which prompted the clampdown on an organs' traffic mafia with a fatal outcome, whereas Clara, a British investigative journalist, strives to pay back some members of a Bacchus sect which abducted and raped her in Majorca. And both women, the same as most female characters of this story, have in common the fact of having been lovers in given times of Greg Scott, an emerging singer and former teacher.

Pursuits of vengeance with bursts of violence, triangular affairs, and an artistic break shape up the events of this narrative that is partly thriller, love story, and künstleroman (artist novel).
