Story
During a brush with the Sons of the Long Knives, Gwion earns the trust of Keridwen and is offered employment at her Castell in Gwynedd. There the goddess is brewing a potion of prophetic insight and secret wisdom, destined for her monstrous, shape-shifting son, Morvran. But an ill-timed accident on the final day of his task sees Gwion inherit all the potion's supernatural abilities. In a shapeshifting battle, Gwion is swallowed by Keridwen, and upon her return to human form the Goddess discovers that she is pregnant. A punishment imposed on her by Gwyn ap Nudd, Lord of the Otherworld, dooms the goddess to carry the babe in her womb for decades.

Story
The adventure of a lifetime...or two, or three. When Sara is gifted a beautiful antique chair as a wedding present, she is completely unaware that it is one of a unique pair. On the other side of the world, the chair's twin is presented to a reclusive artist, Jon, as a birthday gift. The two new owners are thrust into a mind-expanding adventure through the ages - medieval East Anglia, Scotland, France and India. In each instance they experience significant junctions in their lives past, to remember and redress ripples of karma they set in motion and thwart an evil entity that still threatens their present-day lives.

Didn't disappoint
Loved this book. I loved the double story line of the present day and how history effected it.
Didn't see the twist at the end either. A great listen.

Inspiring!
Any aspiring author reading this story is sure to be conflicted as to whether they really want to continue in the grind, or pursue their passion, and to hell with what they ought do to be a contributing member of whatever holds them prisoner.
This tale draws you into the writers world, with all its ups, downs, plot twists and colourful characters. It mixes apparent reality with apparent fiction and leaves you wondering, at times, what is or isn't real.
Their are stories within the stories, within the story.
Traci Harding is my favourite writer of speculative fiction and one of the best story tellers I have had the pleasure to read. With this book she gives you a glimpse into her world and the world of those in her circle of writer friends and associates in the guise of a beautifully written tale you'll find hard to put down. You'll also be pleased to know, the ending will satisfy. There will be many a twist before you get there but I felt sated and content once it arrived.
Stephanie has a lovely voice and characterises well. I do hope she learns to keep the flow in her delivery however.
