In The Storyteller, Sage Singer befriends Josef Weber, a beloved Little League coach and retired teacher. But then Josef asks Sage for a favor she never could have imagined - to kill him. Really got into the wartime narrative and enjoyed the diverse characters. A terribly sad tale but a fabulous story in itself.

Gripping. Heart wrenching. Horrific.

How perfectly can you tell a story, well this narrator captures you from the beginning. So many characters effected by fate and told through the pen of one of the most remarkable characters that I have had the privilege to listen too and read.
A broken soul finding her meaning in life and her stories through a gift handed down in generations, is so beautiful.
Showing that guilt can cloud how you are meant to be perceived and how you perceive.
This is truly a beautiful story and well worth the listen.

A story that gripped me from the start

The story, so well written and narrated, left me feeling profoundly sad, but strangely uplifted at the same time. The plot and the characters are complex and relatable, and caused me a lot of soul searching. Although all the narration was excellent, the Mika narrator was beyond exceptional and captured both the story and the mood of the tale better than any other narrator I've ever listened to.

Touching, disturbing and brilliantly crafted

Well written characters, reflections of the past that were relevant to the story and the narration was superb. A real page turner!

Harrowing at times but beautifully balanced.

I found myself deeply engaged with these ideas of forgiveness and remorse, linked with monstrous behaviour.

Different and engaging

A compelling story with rich characters who danced their way through my minds eye.
