fantastic!
This story was so real life echoing that it was freaky! Having been in a situation so similar, I very nearly could not go on listening. But I did and it ended up being a fantastic listen. Again great narration by the narrator.

Love love LOVED it
I couldn't put this one down and listened to it in one sitting. The beautifully detailed descriptions of France, Imogen's journey and the friendships she forms and broken bonds she mends along the way, even Vince's perspective made this such an enjoyable book. I'm sad it's over. Brilliantly narrated by Aoife McMahon who has a lovely melodic voice and engaging tone. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I was hooked
this was a different kind of book for me but I'm glad I tried it. Mainly due to the narrator. A great absorbing read.
It was a perfect description of how a controlling partner eats away at the confidence of their spouse. I love how she gets away and the story kept me on the edge of my seat as she was pursued.
I loved the characters and the narrator did a stellar job of depicting their personalities and emotions. I got a bit annoyed with Imogen towards the end, not accepting help but it was true to character. im ready to read another book by this author.

Delightful
Such a delightful book. The story is simple and opens itself beautifully to be fun, insightful and cheerful. I found myself passionately responding to characters and unable to stop listening to this audio. Indeed it is an easy read but so worth it for a short break from the doom and gloom of overly realistic novels.
