Story
Ekavir is a hardworking lumberjack's son. It isn't his fault crows speak in eldritch voices when he walks through the forest, or that his blood-red eyes leave the village kids shaking in their shoes. Arthur lives with his father, a fallen but proud former noble, in Border Village #49, along with the other good folks condemned to toil in service to the Baron. But Arthur has an edge: a stolen heart card that secretly fell into his possession, thanks to a dragon. It’s a priceless source of power for the Baron and the tyrant will kill to get it back. Story
When it comes to action and adventure, every hero needs a good sidekick. Holmes has Watson, Batman has Robin, and Daniel has . . . Orrin. More like brothers than friends, they always have each other's backs. And as Daniel is the big, strong, handsome type, Orrin is more than happy to remain in his shadow at school, at parties, pretty much everywhere. Then things take a turn for the truly weird when a terrible accident catapults the pair into a world totally unlike their own, in which the rules of a role-playing game hold sway.

They concluded that humans were unfit to be trusted with the advanced technologies that member-states of the Consensus freely traded with each other.

This is a good book but the similarities to Avatar The Last Airbender are pretty obvious, even though it was only 9 hours this book felt good, ive read 20 hour books where i feel nothing has actually happened. worth a buy

A decent book.
there are alot of similarities between this and dantes immortality, if anything this is a lite version of it.
So if you liked dantes this could be a nice backgroud listen .
Quite a few cliches and troupes are done throughout the novel which makes the atory a bit predictable.
The story hasnt done enough to differentiate it from other lit rpgs on the platform which could be done in the second book.
