Publisher's Summary
Rule No. 2: Show no fear.
They're vile and twisted.
The only thing more f--ked up than the Sick Boys is me, and I'm ready to show them.
The Sick Boys are hiding something from me. They want to pretend like I didn't kill my rapist and they didn't help. But we're not ordinary college students, that much has become clear to me, and I'm growing tired of all of the lies and secrets.
Their masks are cracking, and, finally, I'm starting to see the grotesque reality underneath. It's far darker than I ever expected, and it's not enough. They know everything about me, so now it's my turn. I fear nothing. Not them. Not the man that I killed or the people who set me up.
Fear is for the weak, and I, Avalon Manning, am anything but.
Contains mature themes.

love a strong fmc
I really enjoyed this book, a strong FMC is always better than one that is like "why me?" and that needs a man to look after her.

good story and characters
I unfortunately felt that this was very repetitive of the first book, and have begun to have moments where I no longer relate to Ava (particularly her snaps of anger at seemingly innocent acts) but overall I really enjoy the series and am keen for the next one

Part 2 out of 3… no no, no no, noooo
This is book 2 of 3 - Avalon and the sik boys Dean, Able and Brax are all trying to figure out why she is so important and who it is wanting her gone....
This is much like the first one, a little blah with it being so slow and I gave myself a headache with the amount of times I rolled my eyes. Avalon is so damn bratty to the point it makes me want to pull my hair out. It’s her responses to things that make my skin crawl, I mean like the actual moment she was being called a princess and responded with "No, I am a stone cold queen"... THAT. WAS. CRINGEEEE. AS. HELL... I actually laughed at how embarrassing it was HA!
Just like I said in book 1, I have been listening to this on Audible and Elizabeth Russell who is the narrator for Ava is horrible. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard and when she mimics other people she sounds like a dying hyena on helium.
Yes I do it to myself but my petty peach doesn't care because I am too far in to stop and I just cant help but need to know what happens...
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - generous to the story line only
Heat: Negative 1 🌶️

slow going .....
stone cold queen was a struggle to get through not as good as book 1 which i fell in love with. i love a strong female character and an equally strong male alpha and to tell you the truth i mostly listened to the end of this book because of Dean he was hot and his voice was just right. Avalon started getting way to blood thirsty for my liking and wanting to choke out everyone even Dean who started to get soft with her it started to get annoying and she got to much . i dont think ill be getting the third book because i just cant hear her go on and on about wrapping her hands around her enemy"s throats and smashing their faces in .seriously in the end of the second book i wanted to choke her out .
