Honestly this book has gripped me the get go - it is my favourite in the series! So many amazing heart stopping moments, made me cry in three scenes - I shall not name these just in case you haven’t read it but for those you have - I’m sure you know which bits!

And the reader....boy oh boy I can’t imagine Aelin’s voice without her tbh. I really enjoyed her and can’t wait to see if she does the next one. This is the first I read an audible and she made it so so much fun.

Sarah J Maas you are a master storyteller, " queen of shadows" is a magnificent masterpiece, I can't wait for the next one, thank you. Elizabeth Evans your narrative is magnificent, you infused so much raw emotions in your voice and you make each character come alive and believable, thank you. Queen of Shadows is breathtaking, addictive, mesmerising, riveting, compelling and took me into a world full of magical creatures, but their struggles and emotions are so real that i cried, i smile and laugh. XX
