Publisher's Summary

It's 1933, and Eric Campbell, the man who would be Australia's Fuehrer, is on a fascist tour of the continent seeking allegiances. Yet the Australian way of life is not undefended.

The clandestine armies of the Establishment have mobilised to undermine Campbell's ambitions. But when the Establishment's man in Munich is killed, desperate measures are necessary. Rowland Sinclair must travel to Germany to defend Australian democracy from the relentless march of Fascism.

Pleasurable Interlude

A well crafted series which becomes more compelling with each quaint turn of 1930s phrases.

A view into Australian culture and art during the 1930's

Wonderful narrative, great characters and now one of my favourite authors. I look forward to each book in the collection and Roland's next adventure.
