Great story; disappointing narration
The narrators odd style was so distracting it did detract from the quality of the story.

Brilliant all around
Lord Peter will always be superb (and incredibly sexy!). Sayers' cricket match is fiction's best. What I don't understand is the general braying about Jane McDowell's narration. I have many audible books and her voice is up with the best. For a woman to narrate male characters is just as plausible as the reverse. Bravo all around.

Probably Her Best
I first read this the old way in book form more than 50 years ago. Found it terrific then and still do. Amazing how the plot still impresses. This was Dorothy Sayers’ most readable book.

Great story
One hundred years ago life in an office was very similar to today except for missing some modern inventions. One of my favourite novels from Dorothy L Sayers
