Publisher's Summary
New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean follows her highly acclaimed Bombshell with Heartbreaker, featuring a fierce, fearless heroine on a mission to steal a duke's secrets...and his heart.
HEARTBREAKER Hell's Belles, Book 2
A Princess of Thieves
Raised among London's most notorious criminals, a twist of fate landed Adelaide Frampton in the bright ballrooms of Mayfair, where she masquerades as a quiet wallflower-so plain and unassuming that no one realizes she's the Matchbreaker...using her superior skills as a thief to help brides avoid the altar.
A King of Reputation
Henry, Duke of Clayborn, has spent a lifetime living in perfection. He has no time for the salacious gossip that arises every time the Matchbreaker ends another groom. His own reputation is impeccable-and the last thing he needs is a frustrating, fascinating woman discovering the truth of his past, or the secrets he holds close.
A Royal Match
When the two find themselves on a breakneck journey across Britain to stop a wedding, it's impossible for Clayborn to resist this woman who both frustrates and fascinates him. But late-night carriage rides make for delicious danger...and soon Adelaide is uncovering Clayborn's truths, throwing his well-laid plans into chaos...and threatening to steal his heavily guarded heart.

Narrator
Story was good. I quite like this author. The narrator was generally quite good but the voice chosen for Adelaide was very irritating. She sounded like she was six years old and quite immature. If you can get past that the book was quite good.

Witty and worth it.
I loved how competitive Adelaide and Henry are in the beginning and how determined Henry is, he has his demons but its his single minded pursuit of Adelaide when it began that never wavered, it made him my favourite so far. This Duke does not retreat or torture himself with his own self loathing or regrets it made him a breath of fresh air honestly, Once he stepped over the line he just kept charging on it made him lovely :)
I think they are my favourite couple so far. Adelaide was fierce.

A satisfying HEA ending and prelude to the next book
I loved Addie's story and her swashbuckling 'meet-cute' with the Duke which fuels their witty banter and competitiveness on a journey eventually leading to a lovematch. Sarah MacLean's writing is most enjoyable as is MJW's fabulous narration (which I slowed to x.90 for extra emphasis). There's an interesting storyline to move things along but it plays second fiddle to the romantic relationship that develops organically the more they open up to and are there for each other. Mmm.. lovely - and I recommend highly. Can't wait to discover what's in store for Lady Imogen.
