Publisher's Summary

The world teeters on the brink of destruction.

The people who should be saving the Earth ignore Jason Asano's warnings and choose to loot the house as it burns down around them. He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned.

The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face.

Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

Another awesome instalment

I’ll admit I’m addicted to this series! Even though I’ve read ahead…. I had to listen to the audio for Heath’s amazing characterisation of Shirtaloon’s epic tale of Jason’s (& friends) adventures!!

Got really into this story

Loved how you read this book Mr Miller and as for Mr Shirtaloon great story as always. Can’t wait for the next three books on here. As you know I my opinion on this having the potential of being a great game or anime I hope it comes to life like that. And also as in my other reviews I had mentioned wanting the powers of Jason to cure my mum. Sadly she passed away late April

Awesome as usual I love the banter the real world reference’s and the stories within story feel also the main character progression is fun and leaves one emotionally invested keep up the great work

A slightly darker twist but a worthy sequel

Less of the trademark humour and quips this time. Did the author get down during lockdown? Still a great story to follow up and brilliant narration. Second time I've listened, and still getting things out of it. Love the epilogues.
