Story
In Alan Partridge: Nomad, Alan dons his boots, windcheater and scarf and embarks on an odyssey through a place he once knew - it's called Britain - intent on completing a journey of immense personal significance. Diarising his ramble in the form of a 'journey journal', Alan details the people and places he encounters, ruminates on matters large and small and, on a final leg fraught with danger, becomes not a man (because he was one to start off with) but a better, more inspiring example of a man.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4, these classic cult comedies sparked a critically-acclaimed BBC TV show that ran for two series between 2002 and 2003. Starring the much-missed Sean Lock, these tower block tales revolve around a sardonic misanthrope who, despite his best efforts, can't seem to keep the world at bay. Holed up in his flat in Elderberry House, he's constantly bothered by friends, neighbours and confused tourists - so he hides microphones all around the block to listen in to the other residents.

Why is every film or tv programme a sequel or a remake? Why are people so f***ing hung up about swearing? Why do the asterisks in that sentence make it okay? Why do so many people want to stop other people doing things, and how can they be stopped from stopping them? These and many other questions trouble David Mitchell. Join him on a tour of the absurdities of modern life - from Ryanair to Richard III, Downton Abbey to phone etiquette, UKIP to hot dogs made of cats.

Publisher's Summary
Few humans in the history of civilisation have had a third series of their podcast commissioned. Fewer still have produced one that’s actually any good. Partridge Gordon Alan, or Alan Gordon Partridge to write his name the correct way round, is one of them.
Now as comfortable at the controls of a podcast as he is driving all cars and doing most swimming strokes, Alan returns with a series that whooshes and pinballs around the many areas (there are approximately nine) of his life and brain. And with no regular, contracted broadcasting work to clutter up his days, Alan is free to focus on matters closer to home. Still based at his quasi-rural oasthouse, which now boasts a significantly better kettle than in series one and two, he shares with us thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams spread across eleven episodes with a mean duration of the twenty minutes stipulated in the contract. Would a better approach have been to let the content of each episode dictate its length? Of course it would but that’s a discussion for another day.
So join Alan as he tackles the green eyed monster of envy in his attempts to keep hold of his new love, as he navigates how to re-invigorate an increasingly distracted personal assistant, as he vies for one of the most sought-after car-related ambassadorial positions in all of east Anglia, and as he seeks to track down an old Geordie friend long-presumed dead.
They say there’s nothing more boring than the mundanities of everyday life. Well, Alan’s podcast focuses on literally nothing else. We hope you enjoy it.

The world is a better place with Alan Partridge at the helm
In a world full of turmoil, somehow, the soothing, calm reassurance of Alan Partridge’s voice makes everything seem right again. I will stop short of saying he is the oracle but, Alan Partridge is indeed the oracle. We need more of this man. Now.

Dead pleased with that...
Another sensational series (or tranche) from Alpha Papa! The overarching story and investigation throughout this series was amazing, I was hooked from the get go.
If we are lucky enough to be blessed with another podcast series I'll be one happy listener!
Also would pay good money to help finance the Lynn based Detective series! That has the potential to be as good as 'Swallow' or the spin-off 'Flint'.
Keep up the good work Mr Partridge!
