Publisher's Summary
Alexis Carter is a long way from home, and she doesn't quite understand how she got here. All she knows is that she died once, and now she's alive.
She's woken into a nightmare, trapped on a dark ship full of terrifying aliens. With their silver skin and fire-colored eyes, they look a lot like the monsters that once attacked her on Earth.
One Kordolian in particular stands out.... He's huge, he doesn't talk much, and his job is to guard her.
From what, exactly?
The voices inside her head?
Contains mature themes.

Brilliant
The third instalment in the Darkstar Mercenaries series is about Nithian and Alexis Carter and theirs is a tangled story indeed as Alexis has an unexpected passenger in her head and just to top it all off she has come back from the dead and finds herself on a Kordolian ship surrounded by soldiers who look a lot like those who attacked her on Earth. This is a story about learning to trust again and finding something extraordinary in the process. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole.

***Fractured Souls***
Another swoon worthy performance from J F Harding omg his voice is a panty melting ovary exploding sexiness *sighs* and to top it all off it's an action packed kick ass story of a khordolian and a human girl. Pls more im addicted to this series Anna Carven thank you x

and it just keeps getting better
just when you think Anna Carven might have run out of ideas in comes fractured Souls. what a great way to open up the dark star mercenaries series into another dimension. Alexis had a pretty hard time of it but it was really well put together and action packed. Nithian of course is the gorgeous hero we all expect from a kordolian and I love the way Arouk found her way to Alexis.
this gave Alexis some depth to the story instead of having to just roll along with the kordolian problem.
J F did a great job with all his tones and inflections for different characters. now I'm at a loss for audible has not got the rest of series ready to go so I will just have to keep hoping and waiting that they release it soon. this is an awesome series and ms carven is an awesome writer I'm glad I stumbled onto her sci-fi novels and would like to read more..... just waiting

Why does Abby sound like Kermit?!
I spat my drink in my car when I first heard the vocal performance for her in this particular instalment. The story is good but every time Abby talks now I just picture Kermit in a wig. It’s really made this audiobook even more enjoyable and I get a good giggle as a bonus.
