Her groundbreaking essay 'Teaching Australia' in the February 2016 Griffith Review outlined her experiences and provoked a huge response from former and current teachers around the world.

Publisher's Summary
With accessible strategies grounded in trauma-informed education and positive psychology, this audiobook equips teachers to support all students, particularly the most vulnerable. It will help them to build their resilience, increase their motivation and engagement, and fulfil their full learning potential within the classroom.
Trauma-informed, strengths-based classrooms are built upon three core aims: to support children to build their self-regulatory capacities, to build a sense of relatedness and belonging at school, and to integrate wellbeing principles that nurture growth and identify strengths. Taking conventional approaches to trauma one step further, teachers may create a classroom environment which helps students to meet their own needs in a healthy way and progress academically.
Based on the successful Berry Street education strategies pioneered by the authors, this audiobook also includes comprehensive case studies, learning points and opportunities for self-reflection, fully supporting teachers to implement these strategies within the classroom.

Excellent resource, poor narration
This is a brilliant book. The Berry Street model is clearly explained with excellent relevant examples. I wish I had the diagrams to view.
The narration is poor. The reader inadvertently and often changed some of the words which really jarred. I cannot believe it wasn’t picked up in the editing process. Also the timing of the narration in terms of pauses between headings and chapters also doesn’t work. There is a reason why punctuation is used and it’s meant to add pause and emphasis.
The authors’ content however is excellent, really relevant and clearly explained. This is exactly the model I’ll be using in my classroom this year and I feel really well prepared. Thank you!

Great reference book only
Great reference book for other more helpful books to read. Excellent for telling you why using TCI is beneficial to the student, but not much on how to apply the techniques. Bit disappointing.
