Story
This highly anticipated debut from Matt Walsh of The Blaze demands that conservative voters make a last stand and fight for the moral center of America. The Trump presidency and Republican Congress provides an urgent opportunity to stop the Left's value-bending march to destroy the culture of our country. Republican control of the presidency, senate, and House of Representatives for the next two years is a precious - and fleeting - gift to conservatives.

Story
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Story
Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits and limitations. Have you ever found yourself wondering: Can I set limits and still be a loving person? How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money? Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?

What would God say about those who blatantly misrepresent His Holy Spirit; who exchange true worship for chaotic fits of mindless ecstasy; who replace the biblical gospel with vain illusions of health and wealth; who claim to prophesy in His name yet speak errors; and who sell false hope to desperate people for millions of dollars? The Charismatic movement has always been a breeding-ground for scandal, greed, bad doctrine, and all kinds of spiritual chicanery. Best-selling author and pastor John MacArthur chronicles the unsavory history behind the modern Charismatic movement.

If Christians want to speak with a fresh, engaging and constructive voice within our culture, we need to press deeper into the core truths of the Bible.

Story
Gender identity ideology is about more than Twitter storms and using the right pronouns. In just 10 years, laws, company policies, school and university curricula, sport, medical protocols, and the media have been reshaped to privilege self-declared gender identity over biological sex. People are being shamed and silenced for attempting to understand the consequences of redefining "man" and "woman". While compassion for transgender lives is well-intentioned, it is stifling much-needed inquiry into the significance of our bodies.

Publisher's Summary
The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

Phenomenal, this could be a series of superb sermons.
A life-changing book, thank God it exists! I couldn't put it down. I'm a big fan of Matt Walsh's show and after listening to this book, I'm an even bigger fan. The book reads as if you're actually listening to him speak in one of his thought pieces of the day, it's got Matt Walsh all over it. It's incredibly deep and thoughtful, incisive, and despite the name, very optimistic and inspiring in the end. Listen to the very end. As for me, I'll be listening to it again and again, especially on those Sundays when the actual church homily is too vanilla for my taste. Because Matt Walsh is many things but he definitely isn't a spiritual vanilla.

Pleasant surprise
I approach The book not knowing that Matt Walsh was a radical Christian and full of scriptural knowledge. I was looking for a spiritual books that will shake me out of my complacency in my walk with Christ but I didn’t expect Matt Walsh to be the one delivering this book. You will not regret buying this book if you are Christian.

Better than I expected
Matt hits the bullseye with this book. He accurately describes what is wrong about the church, faith and many Christians today. Definitely an eye opener to my own life. A great book also for the unbelievers who are questioning and in the journey for Truth.

Exceptional
Matt Walsh pulls no punches and provides the unapologetic truth about the deterioration of the church in the west and the love of one’s self we all have. The book provoked significant self reflection and a high emphasis on working towards strengthening ourselves in God, a book I would recommend to all Christian’s I know

Fire and brimstone and cynicism
Given how Walsh eloquently rants with a degree of polished "been there done that" authority of a world-weary, jaded, somewhat bitter old man, you'd be surprised to discover that he is in fact a millenial. In what is a long form version of essentially one of his YouTube shows, which are often morose, neck-deep wades into the worst aspects of modern life making headlines that day, in Church of Cowards he makes largely the same interesting, albeit depressing points, for example: Addressing the uncomfortable truths that mainstream Christians in the USA are at best basically seen as delusional nerds with lousy taste in music and film and at worst pushy scam artists who in a mad rush to be seen as cool by their secular friends essentially become the same flea market traders that Jesus flipped the tables over in the Temple, that the United States of America isn't actually a Christian country, it's a secular country that just happens to have a lot of Christians in it and the tacit admission that without Satan, there would be no reason for Christianity (or technically any other abrahamic religion) to exist.
Church of cowards, once you get past the "preaching" really is a deep dive into the thoughts, feelings and philosophy of a man in his 30's who seems strangely unaware (or upset) that there's usually a perfectly adequate scientific explanation for everything he complains about... and there's nothing quite like a last minute death bed conversion.
