It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the 10th annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to out charm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He’s been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low.

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Publisher's Summary
Sparks are igniting. Flames are spreading. And the Capitol wants revenge.
Against all odds, Katniss has won the Hunger Games. She and fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and her longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. Peeta has turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol - a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create.
Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she’s afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her even more is that she’s not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol’s cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can’t prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying.

Absolutely stunning
This book is absolutely stunning, amazing and beautifully written. When I first found out that hunger games was on audible I went mad. All my friend recommended this season of books I went straight to getting them with my credits when I realised I only had two credits for book one and two so I got them and I’m so so so happy I made this choice. 10/10 recommended.
(Ps: Thank you Audible, for credits)

Tatiana IS Katniss
Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past 10 years we all know the story of the Hunger Games mockingjay saga. The books and the movies. Of Katniss’s bow and arrow, Peeta and his lovesickness, drunken Haymitch and Effie’s hair. I’ve heard a couple of versions of audiobooks of Hunger Games and Catching Fire and this is clearly the best. Tatiana Maslany slips into the head and voice of Katniss perfectly. She draws you and and makes you feel part of the girl of fire’s story

BEST NARRATOR!
Loved this book so much, listening wherever I went. The narrator made took it the extra mile with the different voices for each character, and expressions. It was really easy to imagine. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

An amazing addition to Susan Collins’ hunger games.
The word choice is incredible. I highly recommend this book for teens and young adults. Tatiana Maslany really pulls it together with her emotions and voice changes.
