Publisher's Summary
This seventh novel in author Diana Gabaldon's immensely popular Outlander saga takes listeners on a thrilling journey to 1777 America.
Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife, Claire, that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But fighting for the eventual winner is no guarantee of safety. And worse still, the possibility of pointing a weapon at his own son - a young officer in the British army - haunts Jamie's every thought.

I loved it.
I loved the way so many separate story lines from previous books all collided. Amazing read if you like history, a bit of science fiction, drama and love, and have read all the books in sequence.

I loved it
I loved this book as i always love ms Gabaldon's works. Its action packed and keeps you guessing and listening/reading. It is full of characters you cannot help but love and smile remembering (or loath with passion - whichever takes you) along with emotive scenes the listener/reader can't hep but cry in. Loved the journey as always.

absolUUUtely blown away.
story becomes so much wider but also brings everyone to a twisted meeting point, I didn't think it was possible but this book might even be one of my favorite from the outlander series. endless entertainment, with amazing historical reference throughout and the performance is so we'll thought through and achieved with a wide repertoire of accents sustained throughout.
