R.F. Georgy was born in Cairo in 1964. In 1974, his father, who worked as an electrical engineer for Egypt Air, decided to emigrate to the United States. Upon completing high school in Los Angeles, he went on to the University of California at San Diego where he spent a year and a half before transferring to the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied philosophy. Georgy is the author of such books as Notes from the Cafe and Absolution: A Palestinian Israeli Love Story. His novel, Absolution, will soon be adapted to film by one of Israel's leading directors, Eran Riklis. Georgy is currently working on his next book, The Digital Wasteland. Reviews for R.F.
