This volume collects the key speeches of President Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter Jr.), America's 39th president during his term of office from 1977-1981. Speeches include Carter's multiple speeches related to inflation and the energy crisis, speeches on diplomatic relations with China, Afghanistan, the Iran Rescue Mission, and the Panama Canal treaty signing. His three State of the Union addresses are also included together with his inaugural address and farewell speech.
