Welcome to Eternal Springs, home to more than a 1,000 “normal” people and four feisty witches. Just a tip, the witches are more fun. Especially Skye Thornton, an air witch about town who would rather be on the mainland than a touristy island that’s home to four climate zones and a gaping hole under the local school that allows monsters to creep through and wreak havoc on the community. A reporter, Skye likes to be in the thick of things - she’s a busybody and proud of it - until she quite literally trips over a dead body at the island resort. 

Finding a body facedown in a chocolate fountain isn’t exactly the way earth witch Zola Meadows wanted to start her day. Even worse, her sweet old lady neighbor, Lilly Martinelli, is arrested for the crime. The evidence against Lilly is flimsy at best, and Zola vows to clear her name - not only to make sure justice is served but also to get rid of the trouble-making cat that Lilly has entrusted to her care while she’s in jail.

Fire witch Kenna Byrne has a lot on her hot plate. As the tourism director for Eternal Springs, she's organizing the first annual Battle of the Bands competition. When the drummer of the favored band ends up dead, overachiever Kenna is determined to solve the murder in order to save her event. Throw in a gorgeous pilot, a flying-monkey problem, and an elusive Waffle Wagon, and Kenna is ready to burn more than bridges. Can this elemental witch save the day, or will her whole life go up in flames? 

Water witch Evian Brooks has plenty of problems - and a margarita-loving toad is the least of them. Her scooter is on the fritz, her radio show has three listeners per week (including her mother), and there’s a beauty pageant in town threatening to kill her with boredom. However, the promise of death becomes all too real when Evian finds herself accidentally off-roading into a crime scene where Marilyn Johnson - famed beauty queen - is dead in the water.
